Free State Caskets offers plain pine burial containers that are biodegradable, sturdy, reverent, and simple for those interested in natural/green burial as well as those looking for budget friendly options.   These caskets are constructed of unfinished pine.
 
The standard casket is $650.00.  Add $50 for an oil finish, which is recommended if the casket will be kept in storage for any significant length of time prior to burial.
 
Interior dimensions of a standard casket are 14” deep x 25” wide x 72-76” long.  Custom sizing is available.  There is no interior lining.
 
I try to keep two or three caskets in stock, but if a casket is made to order, please allow up to 14 business days for delivery, depending upon my workload at the time.  If your situation is more urgent, please call and I will accommodate if possible.
 
Plain pine burial urns and pet caskets are made to order.  Urns range in price from $150-200.  Please call to inquire about pet casket pricing.
                                                                                
Casket delivery is available within approximately 250 miles of Lawrence, KS; please call for delivery cost to your location.  Delivery within 50 miles of my shop near Baldwin City, KS is free.
 
Payment:  Cash upon delivery is preferred but PayPal is accepted.  Checks are not accepted.
